Beef Bone Marrow Soup / Roasted

Jenny bought a bag of 6x 2-3 inch rounds of beef bone marrows frozen from Safeway.

She roasted them in the oven for like 20 minutes and they were deliciously fatty. LOTS of fat leaked out. Apparently bone marrow is mostly fat. We drained some fat into a pan and fried some bread to eat with the marrow. Good!

There was some tendon and more marrow in the bones so we instant potted it at high for 5 min. We could probably do 10 min to make the tendon even more tender but it was good enough to eat IMO. Include onions and carrots at first because they hold up well. Boiled cabbage and potatoes afterwards because they break down pretty easily when cut small.

Also air fried the potato’s in the fat of the marrow at 425F for like 20 minutes and it was mildly crispy.
