Kabocha Parmesan Bites

Jenny made steamed/fried kabocha chunks and sprinkled parm on top. It was delicious and would probably be good as a party favor. It’s inspired by her dads kabocha recipe which is just kabocha in chicken broth, we added parm.

  • Chop kabocha into thin slices then chunk them into 1” squares ¼” thick. No need to peel.
  • Start with salt soy sauce water in a pot
  • Boil / steam the kabocha chunks, toss and stir. After like 15 minutes they should be tender
  • Mix in parm
  • Serve with sprinkled parm on top
